Post pandemic- COVID 19 is much talked about in the town. We might survive through this scrutinizing epoch gracefully. Maybe we would learn to live with masks on as we fashion a safer world for the generations to come. Our carbon footprints may diminish over time as we choose to stay longer at home. Virtual classrooms would prevail imperative with homeschooling. AI’s may soon surpass the human race as we already shifted to online banking and other errands online. Doing our part to society by shopping locally and encouraging the vendors nearby to uplift our neighborhood. How about the change within us?

We would let our life drift in the new conduit easily if we concoct our thoughts. Not to do something by choice rather being grappled is making us frustrated and that’s why the mind inclines to pursue the nonentities. Practicing SIMPLE rubrics would help us outpace the nonentities. As we trample towards the post-pandemic days.

S — Stay together but respect the space

Whistleblower here!! Everyone at home is lucky to be confined together but respecting each others space irrespective of age would restore peace many a time

I — Initiate changes at home — rearrange the furniture by choice as many times as needed, plan at least one non-gadget meal together a day with your family contingent to schedules, play, laugh it out and have fun before bedtime..talking about your day. Communication within the family is the secret to bonding.

M — Mindfulness — Live the moment. This is the vital element that could be consciously accomplished by letting go of the past and fear about the imminent. Say it aloud “memories bygone and I kick my fear about future” Kick every single time on the floor each time the trepidation ascends.

P — Pace yourself at ease — No hurry. Reminisce your childhood days when you used to work at your stride regardless of the instigations inflicted upon. Choosing not to track yourself in the race is also a way to sustain yourself in the race. Slow down!!

L — Live to eat & sleep- It’s ok — Lifestyle matters but living is much more important. Simplify the humdrum if needed break the monotony choosing not to do it. Some days we must be obliged to just eat and sleep. Yes!! we accomplished it by sleeping through the night! Pat yourself for the sweet nothings.

E — Eliminate negativity & Exercise for good health — This is indispensable. Remember that an entire sea of water cannot sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship. Similarly, the negativity of the world cannot put you down unless you allow it to. Track your thoughts to cut out negativity. Working out would get your hormones working to snip the pessimism.

When you choose to follow the SIMPLE rubrics you politely lead a simpler yet aspiring life. Every little desire leads to happiness. Every little happiness leads to satisfaction. Every little satisfaction paves a smoother way for acceptance. Every little acceptance adapts to change discreetly. It isn’t about the changes elsewhere. It’s within you!
